The portion of Willow Drive crossing over a drainage ditch located between the southernmost entrance to Willow Baptist Church and Brazosport Christian School complex and Pansy Path will be closed to vehicular thru traffic starting Monday, August 19, 2019 for approximately one (1) month. Northbound vehicular traffic from the intersection of Oyster Creek Drive and Willow Drive to the intersection of Lily Street and Willow Drive, will need to detour through Persimmon Street due west, Forest Drive due west then north, and Redbud Lane due east back unto Willow Drive.

Southbound vehicular traffic from the intersection of Lilly Street and Willow Drive to the intersection of Oyster Creek Drive and Willow Drive will need to detour through Redbud Lane due west, Forest Drive due south then east, and Persimmon Street due east back unto Willow Drive.

Pedestrians / Bicyclists traveling will be able to use the sidewalks on the west or east sides of Willow Drive, whichever one is opened to thru traffic at the time.

Law enforcement and emergency organizations should disseminate this information to their staff and make any necessary route changes to their normal operations. Schools and Churches please disseminate to your parents, students, and parishioners accordingly.

Please pay attention to traffic signs erected and especially exercise caution when travelling thru detours within neighborhoods. See enclosure.
