Public Meeting - 2020 Brazoria County Thoroughfare Plan

Brazoria County Residents Invited to Transportation Public Meeting

On Nov. 12 and 14, Brazoria County residents have the opportunity to weigh-in on the future of transportation in Brazoria County. The Houston-Galveston Area Council partnered with Brazoria County to conduct a transportation study known as the Brazoria County Thoroughfare Plan to consider the future needs of the county's transportation system.

The plan will provide the county with an updated planning tool that can be used to manage, guide, and design a transportation network that improves connectivity, mitigates congestion, and accommodates new development and growth throughout the county.

Two public meetings will be held for residents to learn more about the 2020 Brazoria County Thoroughfare Plan and to provide input on future transportation corridors.
