Chris Anderson comes to the Lake Jackson Police Department with over 22 years of experience. He began his Law Enforcement career in January 1992 with the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office serving as a Jailer, Patrol Deputy and lastly a Criminal Investigator. He served as a criminal investigator for over 12 years. In July 2014 he accepted the Detective Lieutenant position with the Lake Jackson Police Department. In January 2019 he was promoted to Assistant Chief. He graduated from the Alvin Community College Police Academy in October 1993. He is accredited as a Certified Fraud Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, a TCOLE Certified Instructor and holds a Master Peace Officer license. In his off-time Asst. Chief Anderson enjoys time with his family, hunting and fishing.
