1. When is heavy trash pick up?

If your regular household garbage pick up is on Monday and Thursday's, your heavy trash will be on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. If your regular household garbage pick up is on Tuesday's and Friday's, your heavy trash will be on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

2. How do I dispose of fluorescent light bulbs?

You can dispose of fluorescent bulbs along with your household garbage, however please wrap the bulb with paper and place in a garbage bag or box for safety reasons.

3. I'm a diabetic and I take insulin, how can I dispose of my syringes?

Place used syringes in a coffee can or similar container and you may place them in your household garbage for disposal.

4. Are house numbers required?

City Ordinance Sec.14-4 requires house numbers be visible from the street. The numbers or letters should be at least three and one half (3 1/2) inches high, showing the number of the house or building. The numbers or letters should be placed on the front of the building so that they can be seen from the street.

It is very important that this ordinance be followed. In the event of an urgent situation, these numbers will help emergency vehicles locate your address quickly.
