Mulch Site
Did you know the mulch site takes yard debris and turns it into free mulch for the City of Lake Jackson residents? Please bring your own hand tools and containers to assist in loading the mulch.

Heavy Trash 
Other items which may be brought to the mulch site for proper disposal:

  • Anti-freeze
  • Any recyclable material, except glass, aluminum, polystyrene, & pizza boxes. Please rinse out all plastic recyclables prior to disposal.
  • Food grade cooking oils
  • Motor oil
  • Tires

The following items CANNOT be brought to the mulch site:
  • Appliances
  • Carpet
  • Construction/remodeling material
  • Couches
  • Household garbage
  • Mattresses/bedding material


    Attention:
    Beginning October 1, 2020, Commercial Brush & Landscape Debris will be $9 per Cubic Yard

  • HURRICANE NICHOLAS UPDATE | The convenience center, also known as the heavy trash and mulch site, remains an option to residents while the City pauses heavy trash pickup so crews can focus on removing storm debris. We encourage residents to use it if they don't want to wait for service to resume.
