Bus Route Description

Service Summary

Connect Transit will operate service on the Southern Brazoria County Transit service starting June 1. Five routes will provide weekday service within the regional and individual communities. Transfers at Baywood Foods, Brazosport College, and Angleton City Hall will be available.

Regional Route (Gold)

The Regional Route (Gold) provides hourly weekday service between 5:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. between Freeport, Clute, Lake Jackson, and Angleton. Transfers at Baywood Foods, Brazosport College, and Angleton City Hall will be available. North and Southbound route alignments are shown in the individual maps.

Brazosport Route (Green)

The Brazosport Route (Green) provides hourly weekday service between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. between Freeport, Clute, and Lake Jackson. Transfers at Baywood Foods and Brazosport College will be available.

Route highlights include Brazosport College, Downtown Lake Jackson, and Brazos Mall.

Lake Jackson / Clute Circulator (Blue)

The Lake Jackson / Clute Circulator (Blue) provides hourly weekday service between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. in Lake Jackson and Clute. Transfers at Brazosport College will be available.

Route highlights include Brazosport College, Brazosport Regional Medical Center, and Brazos Mall. North and Southbound route alignments are shown in the individual maps.

Angleton Circulator Routes (Purple)

Angleton Circulator Routes (Purple) will provide weekday service between 5:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Starting on the hour the Angleton South / Central circulator will run 30 minute service returning to Angleton City Hall on the half hour. Starting on the half hour the Angleton North circulator will run 30 minute service returning to Angleton City Hall on the hour. Transfers to the regional route will be available on the hour.

Freeport Circulator (Red) 

The Freeport Circulator (Red) will provide weekday service between 5:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. The circulator will provide 30-minute service starting and ending at Baywood Foods on the hour and half-hour. Transfers to the Regional and Brazosport Route will be available on the half-hour.
