Individual Equipment Needed

• Equipment to develop lesson plan. A printer can be provided to student if needed. 
• Eye pro/Ear pro
• Duty handgun with at least 3 magazines and magazine pouch (500 rds.)
• Shotgun (25 rds.) 00buck
• Patrol rifle (300 rds.) (NO XM855) with SLING. Optics- red dot style, 1X4 LPVO, or iron sights. 
• Holster must attach via belt and provide an active or passive retention device and stay in place while running or awkward movements. No Serpas holster.
• Body armor (mandatory) (We will be shooting steel plates)
• Cleaning kit and gun oil
• Optional: Small tool kit (weapon repairs and maintenance) and range supplies i.e., markers, training aids etc. (if you already have one that you use for training. Don’t go out and buy stuff).
• Long pants and closed toed shoes. Bring extra clothes, construction workers rain out, we don’t.
• Snacks

The course will cover the following topics:

• TCOLE 2222 course requirements
• Red dot pistol optics
• The use of optics and training techniques 
• Instructor tools and equipment
• Instructor field repairs to students’ equipment  

If you are unable to obtain something in the equipment list, please contact us to see if the item is available to be loaned out during the block of instruction. Also, we understand that ammunition has been hard to come by so the course has been cut in half for required ammunition.
