This course will teach officers how to effectively gain entry into buildings and rooms with inward and outwards opening doors with standard breaching tools and other items that are commonly carried inside of a patrol car. This course will also teach officers how to safely and effectively gain entry using ballistic shotgun breaching . This is a two-day course that combines Manual Breaching # 3864 and Ballistic Breaching # 3865.

Students must provide the following equipment:

Safety glasses

Body armor

Hearing protection

Duty shotgun

50rds 00 buck (preferred) or 50rds of birdshot will suffice

This course will be outside in the Texas heat. Please bring appropriate food and drink. This class does not rain out. If rain is in the forecast please bring a change of clothes.
