The members of the City Council of the City of Lake Jackson serve At Large. This means that every member of council represents all areas of the city. You may contact any and or all members of council regarding your concerns

2. Can anyone attend a City Council meeting?

Yes, all meetings are open meetings and are open to the public. In certain instances it is allowed under the law for city council to meet in a Closed Session. The reasoning for a Closed Session must be stated in the posted agenda. If an action is needed for the item being discussed in Closed Session, the action must be made in Open Session. City Council and staff encourage its residents to attend meetings and become involved in local government.,
