Procedures for Alcoholic Beverage Licensing for New Licenses


  1. Contact the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) for an application.
  2. File the completed original TABC Application for Retailer’s Permit or License with the City Secretary's Office.
  3. The City Secretary will sign off on the TABC application and call the client to pick up the application or return by regular U.S. Mail.

Texas S.B. 1008 - Effective on 9/1/25
Our office will no longer issue alcohol-related certificates or collect fees. The only action we will take is verifying new licenses to ensure they are in an approved zone and possess their food and beverage certificates.
