The City Council and the Planning Commission invite residents in the affected area to attend a public workshop meeting to discuss the request to rezone the Woodson Tract, 29 acres at Plantation Drive lying behind Buccee’s and Candlewood Suites and bounded by Highway 288/332, Plantation Drive, Flagridge Estates and Basswood.
The request is to amend the zoning to allow for a Mixed Use PUD (Planned Unit Development) with an underlying B-1 (neighborhood business) zone but also allowing multi-family residential use. Discussion will take place between the property owner, developer, citizens, members of staff, the planning commission and city council.
