[ARCHIVED] NOTICE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF IMPENDING ROAD WORK CHANGE OVER

ATTENTION: Residents, Police, Fire, EMS, School District, City Employees and others.

The pavement work on Elm Court and the even numbered side of Camellia Street between 128 Camellia Street and Yaupon Street have been completed. The contractor will now begin installing temporary parking and traffic control devices between 101 Camellia Street and 51 Camellia Court.

This work mobilization will begin on Monday, November 9, 2015 on the Camellia Street segment between Winding Way and Camellia Court with work on the odd number side first. The traffic control signage and barricading will begin shortly with the westbound traffic along Camellia Street from and out of the neighborhoods being detoured to Yaupon to exit. Eastbound traffic from Winding Way through this segment will remain open as normal. Also at this time, the temporary parking stalls for those displaced will be installed across the street from their cutoff access. Pedestrian crossovers for them will be provided with this displacement.

This entire process is anticipated to take a period of 3 weeks. Once completed, the work will continue on the odd side of the street to Yaupon. Once the odd number side is finished, the contractor will fall back to the Camellia Court full construction effort.

Please make plans to relocate any non daily use vehicles to accessible parking areas during your side closure. Expect the periodic traffic disruptions and restricted access through the work zone. Please observe construction zone regulations of the directional and speed limit signs being erected and being enforced by our police department.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconveniences these needed improvement changes may create for you.
