[ARCHIVED] This Way Construction Update

The first phase of construction has been substantially completed on the westbound (north half of the street) and will be open for traffic to a two-way travel flow starting Friday, January 8th. This will allow the closing of the south half of the street currently open to traffic and the reconstruction work to resume to the second phase of project. Finishing work on sidewalks and streetscape will continue on the north half during this change.

The project general contractor, Matula & Matula Construction Company will mobilize in preparation for this by installing traffic channelization devices and signage for traffic directional flow and detours.

All current parking stalls along this segment will be permanently lost and will require the regular users of these to relocate to the remaining available parking spaces along Circle Way.

Expect the periodic traffic disruptions and restricted access through the work zone. Please observe construction zone regulations of the directional and speed limit signs being erected and being enforced by our police department.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconveniences these needed improvement changes may create for you.
