Cities of Clute & Lake Jackson

The Cities of Clute and Lake Jackson would like to inform you that starting the 30th of May, 2017, field crews from Doyle & Wachtstetter and The Wilson Survey Group, will be conducting an unmanned aerial vehicle drone survey and a conventional on the ground topographic survey respectively in the areas east of SH332 . The purpose of this survey is to obtain surface elevations to be used in the engineering processes to determined drainage improvements within these areas to be looked at under Phase II of a six phase drainage study of areas east of SH332. Both cities are cost sharing to make this entire study a reality.

The drone survey should take about 4 days whereas on the ground survey will be finished within two weeks if weather permits. A map of the area being surveyed has been included in the link below.
