Red Cross IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE

The American Red Cross Immediate Assistance Program launched Sept. 11th, here in Texas. This program is designed to provide emergency financial assistance in the amount of $400 to those Texas households in 39 federally-declared counties impacted by Hurricane Harvey, specifically in those communities where homes were most severely damaged, residents were displaced and life-sustaining services were disrupted. These counties include Galveston, Brazoria and Matagorda counties. Clients may register here.

Registration will be open for 30 days (9/11/17 - 10/11/17) through a bilingual online portal that will enable applicants to self-register for assistance and select from several options to efficiently receive assistance through multiple financial channels. Efforts will focus heavily on impacted areas of Texas and will be reaching out broadly to ensure those who need Red Cross assistance are aware of this resource.
