[ARCHIVED] Downtown Lake Jackson Road Closure

The final closure work of the downtown construction project will begin this coming Monday, May 20, 2013. This work will consist of repairing or replacing of defective or failing items installed during construction.

The eastbound half intersection of This Way and Circle Way will need to be removed and replaced to acceptable conditions that will require the closing of the intersection to traffic.

Eastbound travel from Highway 228/332 to downtown will be rerouted to a narrow 2-way travel way. Circle Way travel from Oak Drive to downtown will be closed to thru traffic, but will remain accessible and open to banks through their private drives and to downtown business using alternate routes of Parking Way and highway frontage. Detours will be set up directing the route to these areas.

Expect, the periodic traffic flagging disruptions guiding construction and general traffic through the work zone. Please pay attention to the directional flagging and avoid the work areas if possible.

Our apologies for the inconvenience that these changes create for you, we appreciate your patience during this process.
