NOTICE OF IMPENDING WORK ACTIVITY
STARTING MONDAY, MARCH 19, 2018

ATTENTION: Residents, Police, Fire, EMS, City Employees and others.

Velasco Drainage District (VDD) will be starting maintenance work on the detention storm pipe outfall to Oyster Creek gated structure. This project is an interior pipe lining project to reinforce the conduit wall and maintain integrity of the flow.

The process and installation will be performed in a two-week schedule which will include CCTV video inspection of the entire length from the detention basin to the gate at Oyster Creek. Upon confirmation of the condition, the cured-in-place lining will be installed.

The work activity taking place will be not invasive and of little or no impact to your neighborhood. Expect a typical utility vehicle service presence in the street along the rear of the property while accessing the work areas.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconveniences this may create for you.

Sincerely,

Sal Aguirre, P. E.
City Engineer
