NOTICE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF DOWNTOWN TREE SPRAYING
TREATMENT FOR BALL MOSS INFESTATION

ATTENTION: Residents, Police, Fire, EMS, School District, City Employees and others.

The work is scheduled to begin the night of Monday, April 9, 2018. A single crew will be spraying all the trees along This Way, Center Way, Parking Way, So. Parking Place, No. Parking Place, Oak Drive between S.Hwy 332 E. and Oyster Creek Drive, and Circle Way from This Way East to Oak Drive in the Down Town area. The work will continue nightly until all the infected trees have been sprayed. The project is expected to be completed before the weekend, but in the unlikely event that it is not completed by Thursday morning, the project will be postponed until the following Monday night. All the work will be limited to the Downtown area between S.Hwy. 332 E, Oyster Creek Drive, and Oak Drive; there will be no work in residential areas.

This work is being performed from late afternoon until dawn to reduce the impact on the Downtown parking and traffic situations. This work should have very limited impact on traffic; however residents that travel this area should expect periodic traffic disruptions through the work zones. Please make every effort to make plans to use alternate routes to your destinations and exercise caution when traveling through the work zones.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconveniences these needed improvement changes may create for you.

Sincerely,

Sal Aguirre
City Engineer
