[ARCHIVED] Construction of the BASF Dog Park will begin 9/24

I am excited to announce that the construction of the BASF Dog Park, behind the Recreation Center, will begin next week. The first step will be to install protection fence around the existing oak trees to avoid any damage to the root systems during construction. Next the contractor will create a staging area for equipment, install temporary access for trucks to the site and install a silt fence around the perimeter of the site. Construction is expected to take up to six months. During this time, we ask that all citizens please stay clear of the construction area. The skateboard park will remain open during the construction. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. -Jeremy Bubnick, Parks & Recreation Director 979-297-4533.
