[ARCHIVED] Chlorine Conversion & City-Wide Flushing

We will begin our free chlorine conversion on November 27th that will be completed on December 6th. This ‘burnout’ is performed as a preventative maintenance measure to help us provide better water throughout the year. There may be changes in taste and odor during this process. In sequence with this we will also perform our city-wide flushing. Everything south of Oyster Creek Drive will be flushed on November 30th and December 1st. The north side of Oyster Creek Drive will be flushed on December 7th and 8th. All flushing will be performed overnight from the hours of 10PM to 4AM. This flushing is also performed as a preventative maintenance action. Please contact our Water Department at 979-415-2680 with any questions or concerns.
