WATER SAMPLING TO BEGIN

Beginning on March 29, Monday, and continuing for two weeks, the City will be sampling for lead and copper. This is a state-mandated program. It requires staff to drop off sample bottles and instructions to 60 Lake Jackson residents throughout the community. The staff will attempt to reach residents who will be receiving the bottles to explain the program. The state requires the city to take the bottles to the residents, collect them and have the contents of the bottles tested in a lab. If anyone has questions about why they received a bottle or how the program works, please call 979-415-2683.
