[ARCHIVED] Impending traffic disruption for street panel repairs on Oyster Creek Drive between This Way and Tha

NOTICE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF IMPENDING TRAFFIC DISRUPTIONS FOR STREET PANEL REPAIRS ON OYSTER CREEK DRIVE BETWEEN THAT WAY AND ANY WAY STARTING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2021

The contractor (HTI Construction) is scheduled to begin street removal and replacement of one westbound lane of Oyster Creek Drive between That Way and Any Way. The contractor will set traffic control devices out ahead of the work. The work consists of removing the old pavement and installation of new subgrade and concrete. The right lane will be barricaded during the work and while the concrete cures. The work should take approximately three weeks depending on weather conditions.

The contractor expects to maintain the left lane open except for minor traffic disruptions during the construction and concrete placement. These intermittent traffic disruptions will be random, but the contractor will work to keep them brief.

This reduction to one lane on Oyster Creek Drive will require drivers to merge into the left lane as they travel through the work zone. Please be considerate of your neighbor's safety as well as your own as you share the streets through and around the area. Please make every effort to make plans for use of alternate routes to your destinations. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconveniences these needed improvement changes may create for you.
