Decorate your house in the most festive way and compete for prizes and be seen!
BIG NEWS | We have extended the Decorate the Lights Registration until midnight Sunday, Dec. 8! If you have been on the fence about whether or not you want to share your holiday decorated house with the region on our Tour the Lights Map, you can get off it and register! Winners receive monetary cash prizes ranging from $100 to $200! Our anonymous judges will begin their journey on Monday and they will judge homes for about two weeks. Our Tour the Lights Map will be released Monday, Dec. 9.
Residents throughout the city enter their addresses into an interactive map that allows passers-by to celebrate their exciting holiday house decorations! One of our most popular events, Tour the Lights, encourages drivers to grab a thermal of hot chocolate, load the car or SUV or pickup and make Lake Jackson your holiday destination!
Santa's elves are in town for the event and even though you won't see them, they drive the map too and pick the best decorated home. They announce their decision on FB!
REGISTRATION: Begins Nov. 11 and continues until midnight Dec. 4.
PRIZES: Do you have the most festive house in Lake Jackson? Decorate the exterior of your home for the holidays and enter for a chance to win a gift card to help you decorate again! Winners are announced on the website and FB.

Creative Use of lights and decorations
Story-line or theme execution
Display and placement of decorations

KEEP THOSE LIGHTS ON: Watch our City of Lake Jackson -Government FB page to make sure you know when the elves are judging. If you don't have your lights on we can't see your special decorating spirit
