Drool in the Pool

About the Event:

Calling all Doggos! Who says the humans get to have all the fun? Our annual Drool in the Pool event is hosted every September at the Madge Griffith Outdoor Pool. At this event your four-legged best frens rule the pool! Sorry, no hoomans, we mean no humans will be allowed in the pool. Time slots are available for Woofers (Big Dogs) and Yappers (Small Dogs) and both Woofers and Yappers to swim together with their frens (friends). All dogs must be accompanied by one adult but may also have  additional person who is at least 7 years of age or older to attend.

8:00am-12:45pm (45 Minute Time Slots)

Madge Griffith Outdoor Pool (300 Magnolia Street)

Registration:

August 1st - September 5th

Rules:

• Basic Dog Park Rules apply
• Small Dog Time slots are restricted to dogs 25lbs or smaller
• Large Dog Time slots are restricted to dogs 26lbs or larger
• Owners are legally responsible for their dog(s) behavior including injury to others.
• Dogs must be leashed while outside and while entering and exiting the facility. Dog waste must be cleaned up by the owners immediately.
• Owners must be within the same area and be supervising their dog(s), with leash readily available at all times.
• Dog handlers must be at least 18 years of age
• Maximum of two dogs per adult.
• Dogs must remain under voice control at all times
• Dogs must be current on all vaccinations and have a current Rabies Tag displayed on their collar at all times
• Aggressive dogs must be removed immediately

Prohibited: Strollers, Carriages, Skates, Skateboards, Bicycles and Scooters - Sick dogs or dogs that are in heat - Aggressive Dogs - Puppies (under 4 months) - Glass Containers - Treats/Food (Human or Dog)
