Crime Mapping Page

Crime Map-1

An interactive platform to show residents where, when and what types of crimes officers respond to.

Lake Jackson Police Department now offers enhanced transparency through CrimeMapping.com, a powerful tool that allows community members to view real-time data on where, when, and what types of crimes officers are responding to. This interactive platform enables users to generate neighborhood-specific reports and monitor crime trends over time. By increasing public awareness, we aim to encourage proactive reporting of suspicious activity, promote property protection measures, and foster a deeper understanding of LJPD’s daily efforts to serve and safeguard our community.

How does it work?

The site extracts data from our records management system through an automated import process, then uploads the data every 12 hours. The provided information focuses on reports of criminal activity and does not include minor disturbances, traffic stops, crashes, lost children/persons, animal-related incidents, alarms, or other non-criminal law enforcement activities.
